The Salem Divisional Railway is make use of every opportunity to create awareness on the flagship schemes of union government’s Swachh Bharat, education, water conservation and women empowerment etc.
As part this initiative, the wall of the escalators recently commissioned at the Coimbatore Railway junction were given an aesthetic look with eye-catching wall paintings.
A mega painting on the wall of the escalator with the size 30 feet X 20 feet, besides these, the walls of the concourse area of the Coimbatore junction also painted to improve the ambience, said the officials.
The wall paintings were sponsored by the Chairman, Area 7 Round Table and was dedicated by Satheesh Saravanan, Station Director on Thursday, a release said.
