Sterling Hospitals, a beacon of healthcare excellence in Gujarat, continues to lead the way in providing compassionate care to the community’s senior citizens through its dedicated initiative, the Karuna Clinic. This special clinic, offering free OPD consultations exclusively for senior citizens, is a reflection of our unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of the elders in our society, underscoring our belief that age should never be a barrier to accessing quality healthcare.
On this World Senior Citizen Day, we honour the invaluable contributions of our senior citizens—the pillars of our society who have nurtured generations and shaped our future. The Karuna Clinic has become an integral part of our mission to support their health and happiness, ensuring that their well-being remains a top priority.
Every Thursday, the Karuna Clinic provides free OPD consultations to senior citizens, covering a broad range of medical specialties, including Internal Medicine, Gynaecology, Dietetics, Orthopaedics, Physiotherapy, and Dental Care. Seniors can easily access these services by verifying their age with a valid ID card—a small but significant step to ensure that those who need it most receive the care they deserve.
“Our elders have spent a lifetime caring for others. Now, it’s our turn to care for them,” said Dr Ankush Mehta, Zonal Director at Sterling Hospitals Vadodara. “Through the Karuna Clinic, we extend our gratitude, love, and respect to the senior citizens who have given us so much.”
In addition to free OPD consultations, Sterling Hospitals has also partnered with local Old Age Homes to provide free emergency and ambulance services to senior citizens. This collaboration enhances our commitment beyond the walls of our hospitals, ensuring that the elders in our community have access to timely and specialized care when they need it most.
“Our partnership with Old Age Homes reinforces our mission to give back to society,” added Dr Ansif Abraham, Facility Director, Sterling Hospitals, Bhayli. “Together, we are creating a safety net for our senior citizens, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve in their golden years.”
As a leading healthcare provider, Sterling Hospitals is dedicated to nurturing the well-being of every individual in our community. The Karuna Clinic represents our ongoing journey to serve with compassion, excellence, and a deep sense of responsibility.
On this World Senior Citizens Day, we invite everyone to join us in celebrating our elders, acknowledging their invaluable contributions, and ensuring that they continue to live with dignity, health, and happiness.
