Navgujarat Group of Colleges organized a storytelling session at the college library on Tuesday. The session was conducted by Paresh Vyas, a well-known Gujarati scriptwriter of the movies ‘Passport’ and ‘Saheb’. Students from all the colleges participated in the session.

Paresh Vyas provided valuable insights into script writing, clearly explaining the starting point, middle point, and ending point of a script. Students were given tips on how to build a story plot, establish a premise, develop characters, create conflict in the storyline, generate emotions and empathy and the most important of all how to make a story relatable for audiences.
Paresh Vyas also talked about his personal experiences as a writer and explained critical differences in various styles of writing and how story writing differs for various platforms like films, web-series, television, radio and podcasts.
The session was highly interactive, and students learned about various aspects of script writing, story writing, and paragraph writing.
