Stating that they are into the business of selling bottled water sans profit motive but to supply high-quality water to health-conscious people, Energy Beverages Private Limited has chartered a ‘Clear’ long-term strategy to become a Rs 1,000 crore company by FY25-FY26, said its Founder & CEO Nayan Shah.
Outlining his growth plan, Nayan Shah said, “Water is an essential and precious commodity for the human kind. Being an environmentally conscious company, we have launched Clear Premium Water in 2010 in square bottles to stand out from the crowd. To avoid land pollution, and cater to the needs of Maharashtra and Gujarat, we have set up an eco‐friendly and biodegradable product line‐CLEARth edition in 2017, which uses 40% less plastic in Surat. At present, we have 2 owned plants and 30+ co‐packing units across 18 states, UTs in India with a total production capacity of 30 lakh plus bottles per day. To reach our goal of becoming a Rs 1,000 crore company, we will expand our co-packing units to 100 by FY26.”
Answering a query on the advantages of co-packing units, Shah said, “We join hands with existing local units for co-packing of ‘Clear Pani’ as it do not involve any investment and also solve the logistics issue. All these units follow our quality norms developed by our research and development team. For this end, we spend 0.5 percent of our annual revenue in R&D. Our manufacturing facilities comply with the BIS/FSSAI norms and follow international safety and hygiene standards. ”

Clear Pani stored in normal room condition and away from the Sun will have a shelf-life of 6 to one year. Clear Pani is also available on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon.
These water packages are available in various sizes, ranging from 200 ml, 500 ml, 1-litre and 2-litre to cater to the unique requirements of customers across India.
Clear Pani’s clientele includes various hospitality, tourism, aviation industries like Taj, St Regis, Air India and more.
The total market size of the bottled water is Rs 40,000 crore, out of which organized sector’s dominate Rs 34,500 crore and the rest by the unorganized sector. The organized sector is growing at CAGR of 25 percent, making it more sustainable economically.
