City-based women networking forum Biz Treez announced on Monday that it has hosted Kurukshetra-21 contest and awarded 18 best brains in recognition of their entrepreneurship despite the COVID-induced economic challenges. The award ceremony was held at Apical Banquets, in Navrangpura on Sunday, says a release.
During the last 2 years, when the whole world was battling against the adverse effects of COVID pandemic and the morale of business and society was at an all-time low, it was becoming necessary to help each other and hold hands to make a business revival possible. At such a juncture to support Small and Mid-Cap business entrepreneurs, and especially women entrepreneurs, to lead the economic revival with a tag line of ‘Networking is Everything,’ a strong networking forum called BIZ TREEZ was launched on December 12, 2020.
Founder and the visionary conceptualizer of Biz Treez business networking group, Riddhi Raval shares, “Our core idea was that we should be able to generate business within our own circle and that too without any internal competition. In just 6 months of these tough uncertain times, we have already launched 3 chapters by the name of Aaramb, Aasman and Anant and today we are a family of around 165 dedicated and passionate members who are willing to network, help each other to grow, serve the community and generate businesses to revive the economy.
“My decade of experiences of working with corporates like Vodafone and Gruh Finance gave me the leverage and confidence to bring all these budding entrepreneurs under one roof and work as a family with each other. We have already generated over Rs 1.15 crore business in the last 6 months through internal referrals.”
Talking about the concept of a month-long battle of KURUKSHETRA-21, Raval shared, “We all are passionate entrepreneurs and we love to compete a bit to show our true vision and strengths. Hence, on May 31, we introduced a concept of Battle of Business – “KURUKSHETRA -21″. The whole Biz Treez family was divided into 7 teams with their individual captains and there were rounds of POWER PLAY, SEMI FINALS and FINALS to add to the spice. Every week teams were eliminated and finally we are happy to give away these awards to the 18 most deserving and passionate warriors of BIZ TREEZ family. I congratulate my aggressive team consisting of President – Krupal Thakkar and my core committee members Hetal Shah, Rinku Shah, Monika Shah and Vrushank Mehta for their support and for making Kurukshetra a winning battle of business networking in the community.”
