Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University celebrated Earth Day with vibrant, student-led sustainability initiatives, drawing enthusiastic participation from over 300 students across disciplines.
Organised in collaboration with Bisleri, the event focused on promoting environmental awareness and responsible living through a mix of engaging and educational activities.
A key highlight was the plastic recycling awareness session, where students were sensitised to the escalating challenge of plastic waste and the urgent need for sustainable waste management practices. The session emphasised simple yet effective lifestyle changes that individuals can adopt to reduce their environmental footprint.

Adding a creative dimension, a poster-making competition revolved around themes such as “Save Earth, Save Future,” “Say No to Plastic,” “Clean Earth, Green Earth,” and “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.” Students presented thought-provoking artwork that reflected both awareness and commitment towards environmental conservation.
The initiative served as a dynamic platform to inspire young minds to take proactive steps for sustainability and contribute meaningfully to protecting the planet. The university reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing eco-conscious citizens and promoting green practices, aligning with global efforts to safeguard the environment.
