Spread across the iconic FA Building on the CEPT campus, the exhibition showcases projects from 96 studio units mentored by 167 faculty members, reflecting the university’s deeply collaborative and interdisciplinary learning culture.
What makes the exhibition especially compelling is the human dimension embedded in the projects. From climate-responsive buildings and inclusive urban spaces to sustainable construction methods, smarter transportation systems and heritage conservation strategies, students have explored how design can improve everyday lives and create more resilient communities.
The exhibition features work from all five faculties — Architecture, Design, Planning, Technology and Management — offering visitors an immersive journey into how young Indian minds are visualising the future of cities, infrastructure and public spaces.
Faculty members noted that the showcased projects go beyond academic exercises and mirror the realities faced by modern India, including rapid urbanisation, environmental stress, mobility challenges and the urgent need for sustainable growth.
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Prof. Barjor Mehta in the presence of faculty members, students and staff, marking the beginning of a five-day public showcase of ideas and innovation.
Open to visitors from May 12 to 16 between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, the exhibition invites students, professionals, families and citizens alike to witness how education, creativity and empathy can together shape a better tomorrow.
More than just a display of models and drawings, the CEPT Summer Exhibition 2026 stands as a reminder that the future of India’s cities may already be taking shape inside today’s classrooms.
