Samuthirakani is known for his multi-tasking skills like acting as well as direction. ZEE5 is all set premiere his next directorial film Vinodhaya Sitham on Wednesday, October 13.
The film is headlined by the director himself and Thambi Ramaiah. Munishkanth, Sanchita Shetty, Jayaprakash, director balaji, Mohan, Harkrishnan and Ashok play in vital characters.
Vinodhaya Sitham has cinematography by Ekambaram and is edited by Ramesh.
Vinodhaya Sitham will be streamed on ZEE5 Original OOT platform on Wednesday, October 13.
This film’s digital release and the media meet were held in Chennai on Monday (October 11).
Film’s producer Abirami Ramanathan said “Vinodhaya Sitham has been produced with limited budget by Samuthirakani. After observing the film’s trailer, many women have shed tears. When you see the film, certainly, you will raise and give applause.”
Speaking about the film, Samuthirakani said, “According to Balumahendra Sir, a director will handle an ordinary story but a good story will direct the director. True to his words, this film has brought the latent talents of all and come out as the best film. The human mind behaves in a funny way. We can’t control it, and this is the baseline of Vinodhaya Sitham’s story. I believe that everyone in the audience will connect with this film personally, and I am thrilled to show this film to the viewers.”
My best creation
“You will feel some sort of psychological change on seeing this film. Among my creations, I do believe that this is my best creation. I express my gratitude and wishes to all actors and the crew,” the director added.

Cinematographer Ekambaram has done exceptionally well. Everyone will like this movie. I am indebted to the media friends for their unstinted support.”
“Samuthirakani Sir told me ‘It was very important to handle the cinematography very well’. As expected all the scenes have been piturised well and the film was wrapped up in 19 days. This can be possible only by Samuthirakani. Thambi Ramaiah’s acting is superb in this film. Further, Samuthirakani has played a different character exceptiomally well,” said cinematographer Ekambaram.
