Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palansiwami at 10 a.m. on Friday over the phone.

The Prime Minister was apprised about the preventive measures taken to combat coronavirus in the state and enforcement of social distancing during lockdown by the Chief Minister.

Modi, urged the Chief Minister to strictly enforcing social distancing, so that further spread of the virus can be prevented, says a release from DIPR.
