BSE on Friday announced that Larsen & Toubro Limited, Manappuram Finance Limited, ECL Finance Limited, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Redington (India) Limited, Kotak Mahindra Prime Limited, Muthoot Homefin (India) Limited, The Ramco Cements Limited and IIFL Wealth Finance Ltd made an application to list their Commercial Papers for Issue Size of Rs. 2,995 crore; Rs. 775 Crore; Rs. 500 Crore; Rs. 500 Crore; Rs. 450 Crore; Rs. 175 Crore; Rs. 140 Crore; Rs. 100 Crore, Rs. 75 Crore and Rs. 35 crore, respectively. Post process, the effective date of listing for the same at BSE is January 13, 2020.
Till date 77 Issuers have done 582 issuances of Commercial Papers and have successfully listed CPs of Rs. 1,72,984 Crores on BSE. The weighted average yield of these issuances is 6.13% with an average tenor of 149 days.
In F.Y. 2019-20, BSE’s Debt Platforms have enabled corporate India to list debt instruments worth Rs. 5,12,045 crore ($ 71.83 billion) as on (January 10, 2020). Of this, BSE has successfully raised Rs. 2,35,237 crore ($ 33.19 billion) with market share of around 60% via BSE BOND platform as on (January 10, 2020). This platform was launched in July 2016 and garnered fund raising of Rs. 9,41,719 crore ($ 132.88 billion) since inception.
