CHENNAI, JULY 3
As many as 510 Air Warriors from categories of Automobile Technician, Automobile Fitter and Air Force Police trades were inducted into the Indian Air Force after undergoing rigorous training at Mechanical Transport Training Institute (MTTI) and Air Force Police & Security Training Institute (AFP & STI) on Friday (July 2, 2021).
To mark the successful culmination of training, a ceremonial Passing out Parade was held amid holistically following the COVID protocols.
Air Commodore S Sivakumar, Air Officer Commanding 23 Equipment Depot, Avadi was the Reviewing Officer of the parade.
The Reviewing Officer addressed the Passing out Parade and complimented the newly inducted air warriors for their immaculate turn out, spectacular drill and high standards of parade.
Later, Air Commodore Sivakumar presented awards to the air warriors who have excelled in various disciplines of training. The newly inducted air warriors were then administered the ‘Oath’ by the Commanding Officer of the institute.
IAF Tambaram
An impressive passing out parade was held at Air Force Station, Tambaram to mark the culmination of trade phase training of 308 Air Warriors of Workshop Training Institute (WTI) on Friday (July 2, 2021).
Air Commodore Vipul Singh, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Tambaram was the Chief Guest on the occasion and reviewed the parade.
The Reviewing Officer complimented the newly inducted ‘Air Warriors’ on their immaculate turn-out and impressive drill movements.
He advised the Air Warriors must strive for professional excellence and urged them to make sustained efforts towards continuous enhancement of their knowledge and skills by keeping themselves abreast with the latest changes. He also advised them to maintain exemplary conduct at all times, in keeping with the ethos of the service.
The ‘Best All-Rounder Trophy’ was awarded to Leading ⇑ Aircraftsman Arman Ali Ansari, Mechanical System Fitter and Leading Aircraftsman Mohit Kumar Rajput, Environmental Support Services Assistant of Workshop Training Institute, releases from Defence PRO said.
