Twenty-six teams comprising 52 golfers participated in the Gulmohar Duets, played over the weekend at Gulmohar Greens – Golf and Country Club, as a part of the MP Financial Services – Go Golf 2022 calendar, says a release.
Tight contests were witnessed in both the handicap categories with little to separate the winners and the runners up.
The team of Nitin Chaudhary and Rajinder Chauhan emerged the winner in the 0-18 handicap category with 87 gross and 37 points, just edging out eventual runners up Dharmendra Zaveri and Rahul Sanghani who ended with 87 gross and 34 points.
Ajay Kumar Singh and Baljeet Singh won in the 19-36 category with 98 gross and 30 (B9-16) points. They got the better of Samir Kumar Das and Anand Basu, the runners up with 101 gross and 30 (B9-13) points.
The winning teams were awarded 3,000 reward points for their efforts, and the runners up 2,600 points. In all, 24 golfers from both categories earned reward points.
