Patel for forging the partnership with NACP and extended his special thanks to Sushil Goswami, Director, School of Integrated Coastal and Maritime Security Studies, RRU for his sincere efforts in fructifying the MoU between NACP and RRU, and enabling passing out officers to receive Diploma from RRU. Diploma, according to DIG Singh, will not just enable officers to continue their academic pursuit in the specialized domain of coastal security and operations and accumulate more academic credits but will also help India’s coastal states and UTs to have a cadre of specially trained coastal police officers.
DIG Singh also complimented the NACP team led by BSF Deputy Commandant CB Prasad and Assistant Commandants Ram Kishan, Atul Gahlaut, Sonal Bohra, and others for meticulously planning and executing the extensive training program and giving their best reskilling and upskilling to the coastal and marine police officers.
