Chandramari International School (CMIS), in collaboration with Lab of Future, Dubai, proudly conducted its Innovation Week program with a remarkable Project Expo that showcased the creativity, ingenuity, and hard work of its students.
This six-day initiative, held from January 20th to 25th, was a hands-on learning journey designed to bridge classroom education with real-world applications. Throughout the week, CMIS students actively participated in workshops focused on cutting-edge technologies such as drone making, rocket launching, robotics, aeromodelling, and telescope building.

The workshops provided students with opportunities to apply scientific concepts, think critically, and collaborate on innovative projects that pushed the boundaries of their imagination. The culmination of this immersive learning experience was the Project Expo, where the student’s remarkable projects were proudly displayed.
Inaugurated by CMIS Chairman Dr Muralikumar, Correspondent Dr Sumathi Muralikumar in the presence of Executive Directors Dr Gowtham Chandru, Dr Vijay Chandru, Risivarthini, Principal Vishal Bhandari, staff, and the entire CMIS community, the Expo became a vibrant celebration of creativity and innovation.
Parents, students from other schools, and the public were invited to explore the impressive projects. From functional drones and rockets to intricate robotics and aeromodelling designs, each exhibit demonstrated the students’ dedication and skill. Visitors were particularly impressed with the students’ ability to explain the science and technology behind their creations, reflecting their deep understanding and passion for innovation.
The event also included interactive sessions for parents and visitors, who gained insight into CMIS’s progressive approach to education, which emphasizes experiential learning and the development of 21st-century skills. Parents expressed their pride and amazement at the potential unlocked in their children through this initiative.
