The 15th edition of three-day BSF Boot Camp concluded on Saturday in Suigam, offering a transformative experience for students from G.D. Modi College of Arts, Palanpur.

Throughout the camp, students underwent a range of activities, including physical training, Yoga, unarmed combat, survival techniques, route marches, obstacle negotiation, and judging distance. Besides, demonstrations on support weapons used by BSF and life-saving techniques further enriched their understanding.

The students also learned about the historical importance of Nadabet and the pivotal role played by BSF during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. A visit to the Border Outpost offered them a first-hand experience of the challenges faced by BSF personnel while serving in the harsh terrain of Rann of Kutch.

Overall, the camp proved to be an enriching and eye-opening experience. As the camp concluded, the participants expressed a deep sense of appreciation for the dedication of security forces and recognized the value of physical fitness, mental resilience, and teamwork.
Aimed at empowering and inspiring the youth through exposure to the life and service of India’s border guardians, these Boot Camps are being organized in collaboration with Gujarat Tourism under Vibrant Village Programme of the Government of India (GoI)
