HDFC Bank, India’s leading private sector bank, has unveiled ‘My Business QR’, the country’s first instant digital storefront QR for small businesses, at the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2025.
Developed in partnership with Vyaparify, the new solution is an extension of the Bank’s popular SmartHub Vyapar merchant app, currently used by over 2 million merchants nationwide.
‘My Business QR’ is designed as a single, powerful commerce identity that transforms a simple payment QR into a digital business profile and storefront — enabling merchants to be discovered, contacted, and transacted with instantly. Customers can scan the QR to view business details, save the merchant’s profile, and even place and pay for orders online, all within seconds.
By merging two of India’s most familiar digital behaviors — QR payments and chat-based engagement, the offering bridges the offline-to-online gap for micro and small enterprises, helping them build a trusted, commerce-ready digital presence without technical complexity or heavy investment.
Rajanish Prabhu, Head – Payments & Direct Banking Channels, HDFC Bank, said:
“At HDFC Bank, our vision is to empower every merchant with technology that drives growth and builds customer trust. With SmartHub Vyapar, we made digital payment acceptance simple; with ‘My Business QR’, we are taking the next leap — giving every merchant a foundation to grow their business in the digital economy.”
Ruby Jain, Founder of Vyaparify, added: “Our mission has always been to give every small business a simple digital identity that customers can search, save, and engage with. Together with HDFC Bank, we are creating a single mode that carries a merchant’s identity, discovery, engagement, and commerce — enabling millions of local businesses to thrive in the same digital ecosystem as their customers.”
With this launch, HDFC Bank and Vyaparify are advancing digital inclusion for India’s merchants, empowering even the smallest local shops to go online, enhance discoverability, and boost customer engagement.
At GFF 2025, HDFC Bank also showcased a suite of next-generation payment innovations built on UPI and India’s Digital Rupee, further strengthening its position as a frontrunner in shaping the nation’s digital commerce landscape.
