AHMEDABAD, NOV 1
The Ladies Club of the Ahmedabad Medical Association (AMA) successfully hosted a special Health and Empowerment Program at the AMA House, focusing on women’s well-being, awareness, and preparedness in medical emergencies. Supported by Shalby Multi-Specialty Hospital, Naroda, the event aimed to inspire women—often the primary caregivers—to prioritize their own health and gain the confidence to act in crisis situations.

The program featured two insightful sessions.
Crucial Health Talk on Cancer
Dr. Pushpendra Hirpara delivered an informative and engaging talk on cancer awareness, emphasizing early detection, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of regular screening. His session also helped dispel myths and promote evidence-based understanding of the disease.
Hands-On CPR Training
In the second session, Dr. Jaydeep Nagar conducted a practical workshop on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), teaching attendees how to respond effectively during cardiac emergencies. Participants gained first-hand experience in performing CPR—a vital skill that can save lives before professional medical help arrives.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session and a pledge to spread awareness about preventive healthcare and emergency response within the community.
