The internet is buzzing and audiences are laughing in unison as the much-anticipated trailer of the Gujarati film Bicharo Bachelor has been officially unveiled, instantly striking a chord with viewers across generations. Slated for a grand theatrical release on 2 January 2026, the trailer promises a perfect cocktail of humour, heartfelt emotions, and relatable social realities.
Designed as a complete family entertainer, Bicharo Bachelor hilariously yet sensitively captures a phase every Indian family knows too well—the relentless hunt for the “perfect bride.” Equally relatable for today’s bachelors and deeply nostalgic for married audiences, the film stars Tushar Sadhu in the lead role as Anuj, a 28-year-old navigating love, family expectations, and societal pressure.
The trailer offers laugh-out-loud moments woven seamlessly with warm family emotions, social situations, and cultural nuances, making it a story that resonates across age groups. From awkward matchmaking meetings to emotional family conversations, Bicharo Bachelor reflects everyday life with charm and honesty.
Produced by S. R. Patel and Raju Radia (Jersey City) under the banner of Veer Studios, in association with Raju Radia Productions, the film is written and directed by acclaimed Gujarati filmmaker Vipul Sharma. Dr. Jayesh Patel (Jersey City) and Nikhil Raikundalia (Jersey City) serve as co-producers.
Alongside Tushar Sadhu, the film features an impressive ensemble cast including Prashant Barot, Jay Pandya, Jaimini Trivedi, Sahil Patel, Aanshu Joshi, Hirav Trivedi, Bhumika Patel, Dipen Raval, Krunal Bhatt, and Krunal Suthar. The female cast brings strong performances by Twinkal Patel (Kachhadia), Riddhi Dangar, Shivani Pancholi, Madhavi Patel, Teertha, Krina Pathak, Shivangi Nayak, Khushbu Trivedi, and Aanchal Shah, with nine actresses playing pivotal roles in Anuj’s matchmaking journey.
Sharing his thoughts, Tushar Sadhu says, “When a man reaches the age of 26–27 and is still unmarried, the pressure on parents to get him married starts increasing. Gradually, that pressure transfers to the individual as well. One begins to feel that time is passing, marriage is pending, and friends are already married with children. Everywhere, people keep asking the same question: ‘When are you getting married?’ This constant mental pressure stays with you. I had shared with Vipul sir that we should make a film on this subject. He had experienced something similar himself, so we started working on it together. We spoke to many people and heard their stories, which helped shape the screenplay. This film captures the journey of a 28-year-old man struggling with marriage pressure, while also showing how his parents deal with the situation.”
Director Vipul Sharma adds,
“The story of this film reflects a universal truth—this pressure is faced not only by men, but by women as well. That thought became the foundation of Bicharo Bachelor. The film shows how individuals in the 27–28 age bracket are pushed into marriage conversations, how parents begin searching for suitable matches, and what expectations boys and girls have from each other. This is a film everyone can relate to, as it sensitively portrays the impact of societal pressure on families and young adults.”
With its clean humour, emotional depth, and strong relatability, Bicharo Bachelor is poised to be a crowd-pleasing festive release for Gujarati cinema lovers. As the trailer continues to trend and spark conversations, anticipation is building for what promises to be a heartwarming, laughter-filled cinematic experience.
