The event brought together students, academicians, and industry leaders on a vibrant platform of knowledge exchange and collaboration. The inaugural session featured a welcome address by Dr. M. Venkatalakshmi and a presidential address by Director Dr. P. Alli Rani, who underscored both the institution’s pivotal role and Coimbatore’s global standing as a textile powerhouse.
Adding to the prestige, Atul Asher and Kantial G. Vora were conferred the Textile Pioneer Award for their outstanding contributions to the industry, while Repco Bank and MAG supported the event as chief sponsors.

Chief Guest Durai Palanisamy highlighted the sector’s transformation, stressing sustainability, advanced manufacturing, and digital transformation as key drivers shaping the future of textiles. During the valedictory session, Dr. Rossitza Krueger of GIZ India spotlighted the importance of sustainable cotton and responsible supply chains, reinforcing the industry’s shift toward ethical and environmentally conscious practices.
