Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Gujarat leaders have made a clarion call on Thursday that the Model State of Gujarat is badly in need of a ‘broom’ to clean up the ‘politics of corruption and religion-based divide and rule policy’ of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and the main Opposition Congress. Despite ruling the state for 27 years and 35 years respectively, both parties have failed to deliver good governance in the land of Mahatma Gandhi.

Speaking at the inauguration of Aam Aadmi Party Jamalpur-Khadia assembly office, state minority cell president Arif Ansari, legal cell state president Pranab Thakkar, legal cell state vice president Urvashi Mishra, state secretary Haresh Kothari, state women’s vice president Ramilaben Dabhi, claimed that Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP was the only effective “alternative” to the ruling BJP and the opposition Congress.
State minority cell president Arif Ansari said, “If AAP is voted to power in Gujarat, it will not only lay concrete foundation for school education but also set up world-class higher education institutes. With these initiatives, children of the lower strata of the society, including the middle-class, will get free education of higher quality as is being offered in Delhi by the NCR Government led by visionary leader Arvind Kejriwal.”
AAP Jamalpur Khadia Vidhansabha candidate Amjadkhan Pathan, state minority cell vice president and former AMC Corporator, said, “I have been doing community service in Ahmedabad for a long time, irrespective of religion and caste. During my stint as a corporator, I have done a lot for health and education. And have rendered all possible help to the poor and needy affected by the COVID pandemic to get treatment. If am elected, I will strive my best to resolve the issues in my constituency.”

Having stormed to power in Punjab, winning 92 of the 117 seats, AAP has now set sight on Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
“મહાભ્રષ્ટ ભાજપ સરકાર આવનારા ૧૫ દિવસમાં કર્મચારીઓને લઈને કોઈ સચોટ નિર્ણય નહીં કરે, તો પંદરમાં દિવસે આમ આદમી પાર્ટી અને અરવિંદ કેજરીવાલ સરકારી કર્મચારીઓને લઈને એક મોટી જાહેરાત કરશે.” – @Gopal_Italia pic.twitter.com/EgoxKhpYht

Rattled by the AAP’s ‘guarantees’ and the massive gatherings at AAP meetings, the ruling BJP has started resolving the long-pending demands of the farmers, government staffers, teachers, ex-servicemen and the policemen. Further, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel and state BJP unit chief CR Paatil have started meeting various caste-based bodies and unions to sort out their issues and checkmate the AAP’s campaign.
