Having completed a decadal free healthcare service to the poor and needy in and around Savarkundla, Shree Vidhyaguru Foundation committed to continue it for 100 years, announced Dr. Nandlal Manseta, Founder Trustee of Shree Vidhyaguru Foundation and founder of Sri Lallubhai Seth Arogya Mandir here on Friday.

Addressing the media, Dr. Nandlal Manseta, said, “Sri Lallubhai Seth Arogya Mandir was started by Shree Vidhyaguru Foundation in the year 2015 at Savarkundla with a commitment to serve Dardi Narayan. Shree Vidhyaguru Foundation has completed 10 years today. So far 19,50,000 patients have been treated free of cost in the multi specialty hospital run by the Foundation. Now, the Foundation has been celebrating the tenth anniversary of this health temple. On this momentous occasion, we commit to provide free of cost service to the society for 100 years. To mark the 10th year celebration, well-known cardiologist of Ahmedabad city Dr. Ramesh Kapadia will be felicitated tomorrow.”

Multi Specialty Hospital with a difference
Dr. Nandalal Manseta further said, “Sri Lallubhai Seth Arogya Mandir (Multi Specialty Hospital) managed by Shree Vidhyaguru Foundation has 108 beds, and 12 ICU beds for emergency treatment of heart diseases. The hospital has 31 different specialist doctors, including MD, Orthopaedic Surgeon, Cancer Surgeon, Ophthalmologist, Physiotherapist, General Surgeon. Apart from this, the hospital also has advanced pathology laboratory, dialysis center.”
Over thousand patients visit the OPD daily
If the patient coming for treatment in the hospital is admitted, then their accommodation, food etc needs have been provided free of cost. When the patient is discharged, they are given 15 days of medicine free of charge. Over thousand patients visit the OPD of Sri Lallubhai Seth Arogya Mandir every day. There are many patients living in villages who cannot afford to go to the hospital. For these patients free medicines has been provided to home by the organisation.
