Ahmedabad Tamil Sangam will celebrate its 30th anniversary at Seventh-Day Adventist Higher Secondary School, Haripura, Maninagar East here on Saturday, April16 at 6:30 pm.
Thiru D Jagadeesa Pandian, IAS, former chief secretary, Government of Gujarat will be the Chief Guest.
The Gueets of Honour include Thiru S Jagadeesan, IAS, former MD, Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam; Thiru M Thennarasan, IAS, Vice-Chairman and MD, GIDC, Gujarat; Thiru J Ranjitkumar, IAS, Commissioner-Bureau of Public Enterprises, Finance Dept, Gujarat; Thiru M Nagarajan, Director of Higher Education, Gujarat; Thiru Arun Mahesh Babu,IAS, Rajkot District Collector; Thiru RP Devendira, Senior Civil Judge and Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chhota Udepur; and Rengabhoopathy, Vice-President, TNCC
To mark this event, a Bharata Natyam recital will be staged by students of Mayuri Nrithya Vidyalaya of Maninagar. It will be followed by Cultural Dances by Fire Boys Troupe.
A group of five scholars from Tamil Nadu will perform ‘Innisai Patti Mandram’ (Musical debate show) as icing on the cake.
Prizes will be distributed to Std X, XII students who had excelled in 2019-2020 and 2002-21 board examinations.
