Apollo Hospitals, Ahmedabad, on Friday announced it has received Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for the fourth consecutive time. Recognised globally as the gold standard in healthcare quality and patient safety, JCI accreditation assures patients that the hospital meets more a 1,000 rigorous standards across clinical care, infrastructure, operational excellence and staff competency.
The hospital first earned JCI accreditation in 2016, and has since consistently maintained and advanced its practices to match the highest international standards. JCI is one of the world’s most demanding accreditations in healthcare, awarded only to institutions that demonstrate sustained excellence in patient safety, clinical outcomes, and organisational processes.

The accreditation process includes an extensive evaluation by expert international surveyors. Through the SAFER Matrix (Survey Analysis for Evaluating Risk), JCI identifies areas of high priority, helping hospitals focus on continuous improvement while safeguarding patient outcomes.
