Two candlelight marches were taken out in Arunchal Pradesh to pay tributes to a fallen hero this week, a Defence source said.
A candle light march was organised to pay tributes to Warrant Officer Birendra Singh Yadav of @official_dgar, by residents of Jairampur, Arunachal Pradesh.

Warrant Officer Virendra Singh Yadav of Assam Rifles, a resident of Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, was killed in action in an insurgent attack last Sunday in Jairampur Sub-Division of Changlang District, Arunachal Pradesh.
Saluting his selfless service to the nation, approximately 250 residents of Jairampur took out a candlelight march at two different locations from Jairampur Market to Assam Rifles gate in Jairampur and from Football Stadium to Police Station Nampong in Nampong from 4 pm to 5 pm. The march was organised by a local leader and sitting MLA, Laisam Semai.
The locals expressed anger over the barbaric act by the insurgents and pledged their support to the security forces who have been striving hard for long to maintain peace in the region.
