The Indian Armed Forces have always been a fascinating career option among youth who aspire to join the defence forces. A career in the Armed Forces holds a place of dignity and immense respect amongst the youth, says a Defence PRO release.
As a part of Republic Day Celebrations 2024, under the aegis of HQ SWAC, Gandhinagar, Air Force Station, Bhuj will be organising an exhibition namely “Know Your Armed Forces” at Air Force Station, Bhuj on Thursday and Friday-January 25-26, 2024. The event will be organised as a part of an outreach programme aimed at creating awareness and fostering a deeper connection between the Indian Air Force and the local communities.
The exhibition will essentially comprise static display of fighter aircraft, missiles, radars, weapon systems etc. Apart from this, the event will also witness spectacular aerial display by the elite Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) in the blue skies of Air Force Station, Bhuj.
The Display will be open for general public on both days from 9 am to 3 pm. All Indian citizens carrying valid Identity Proof in original may visit Air Force Station Main Guard Room independently for witnessing the exhibition. Being a restricted area carrying of smart phones, smart watches, laptops, cameras etc. are not permitted inside the air force campus.
