Brio Hydroponics, a pioneer in sustainable agri-technology, on Wednesday announced the launch of Unnati – Gujarat’s largest Hydroponics Park spread across 100 acres in Talod, Sabarkantha district. The mega project marks a major leap in transforming India’s agri-economy through soilless, hi-tech and climate-resilient farming models.
The Unnati Hydroponics Park will be developed and operated by Brio’s domain experts, deploying advanced Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) systems – a first-of-its-kind innovation globally. Using nutrient-rich water solutions instead of soil, the system drastically reduces crop cycles, improves yields, and insulates farmers from vagaries of climate change.
Brio Hydroponics has already developed 30 acres under cultivation within the park, showcasing robust yields and faster harvest cycles. The company is leveraging global technologies sourced from France, Israel and New Zealand, tailored for Indian farming conditions.
Farmers, Investors and Industry Alike
Speaking at the launch, Pravin Patel, Founder, Brio Hydroponics, said: “Unnati is not just a park; it’s a movement towards climate-smart agriculture. By integrating our CEA system with global best practices, we aim to liberate farmers from weather uncertainties and help them achieve consistent, profitable and eco-friendly farming outcomes. Our success with projects for Welspun Group, Adani Group, and others in India and abroad reflects our credibility and expertise. Now, we invite more farmers and investors to join us in building India’s agri-future.”
Investors backing Unnati echoed strong confidence. Rajesh Mehta, an early investor, said: “Brio has given us unmatched trust and transparency. Their professionalism and execution strength make this venture a reliable investment opportunity.”
Amit Bansal, another investor, added: “The returns and support we’ve experienced with Brio Hydroponics are not only rewarding but also future-driven. This is agriculture reinvented.”
Scaling Hydroponics in India
With partnerships already in place with Anand Agricultural University, IFFCO, and domain experts, Brio Hydroponics plans to empower farmers, agri-preneurs, and FPOs (Farmer Producer Organisations) by offering scalable hydro-farming solutions. The initiative is expected to strengthen food security, enhance export competitiveness, and open up profitable agri-investment opportunities in Gujarat and beyond.
Brio Hydroponics envisions Unnati as a model project that demonstrates how India can adopt sustainable agriculture practices without compromising on productivity or profitability.
