The special “Onam Vacation – Golden Triangle with Ahmedabad & Statue of Unity” Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will commence its journey from Thiruvananthapuram North on August 22, 2026, taking travellers on an 11-night, 12-day all-inclusive holiday spanning nearly 6,895 kilometres across some of the country’s most celebrated destinations.
The specially designed itinerary begins in Ahmedabad, where tourists will experience Gujarat’s rich cultural and architectural heritage through visits to Akshardham Temple, the historic Sabarmati Ashram, the magnificent Adalaj Stepwell, and the UNESCO World Heritage monument Rani ki Vav.

The next destination is Ekta Nagar, home to the awe-inspiring Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest statue dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, symbolising national unity and India’s modern engineering excellence.
The journey then moves to the national capital Delhi, where travellers will explore iconic landmarks including the Red Fort, Rajghat, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar and India Gate.
From Delhi, the train proceeds to Agra, where visitors will witness the timeless splendour of the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
The final destination is the royal city of Jaipur, offering an unforgettable experience through visits to the magnificent Amer Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and the iconic Hawa Mahal, before returning to Thiruvananthapuram North on September 2.
