Former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s aide V K Sasikala began her journey to Chennai from a resort near Devanahalli on Monday morning after Rahukalam.

Amidst warning by the Krishnagiri district police, her convoy with hundreds of vehicles fly past Athipalle border sporting with AIADMK flags.
Before beginning her journey, she paid floral tributes to her former master J Jayalalithaa’s portrait along with AMMK Chief TTV Dhinakaran.
She was given rousing welcome by hundreds of supporters with Poorna Kumbham at Athipalli, bordering Karnataka.
Majority of Tamil satellite channels broadcasting her return live from her resort.
According to sources, Sasikala is planning for an hours meditation at MGR’s house at Ramavaram.
Meanwhile, security has been beefed up around AIADMK headquarters at Avvai Shanmugam Salai and Jayalalithaa’s memorial at Marina beach.
