Director Arvindh Srinivasan of ‘Dejavu’ fame has started his second pan-India venture with upcoming actors Kishen Das and Smruthi Venkat as the lead pair. The new film is titled ‘Tharunam’ and the makers unveiled the first look poster on Tuesday (June 6, 2023).

‘Tharunam’ is touted to be a romantic entertainer jointly produced by Zhen Studios and Arka Entertainment. The movie kickstarted with a pooja ceremony at Rani Seethai Hall near Gemini Flyover in Chennai.

I have heard four hit songs from him. He said he can definitely do it. My ‘Dejavu’ film editor is also working on this film. Thank you, our aim is to deliver good work beyond ‘Deja vu.’ After ‘Dejavu’ I was sure not to make a good mystery thriller again. We talked about many stories. I took 2 months for this story. Replying to the queries, the director said that they have planned a 40-day shooting schedule. The film will be produced in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages and expected to be released in December 2023.
