MUMBAI, NOV 1
EXELmoto, the celebrity-backed electric mobility startup, has unveiled its new commercial division through a strategic partnership with Delhivery India Limited, marking a major leap from personal to commercial mobility solutions. The company also launched ‘Scoot’, a universal electric cycle with scooter-like comfort — designed to empower women, elderly riders, and daily commuters with affordable, license-free mobility.
The launch event, graced by Suniel Shetty, KL Rahul, Ahan Shetty, and Akshai Varde, celebrated EXELmoto’s Phase 2 expansion, marking its entry into the high-growth B2B logistics sector alongside its successful consumer mobility business.
Delhivery Association: A Strategic Step
EXELmoto has developed a customized logistics e-bike for Delhivery’s operational needs, following a successful pilot. The first batch of 200 logistics bikes has entered phase-wise delivery, validating EXELmoto’s engineering and reliability in real-world conditions.
“Delhivery validated what we built — reliability under logistics pressure. With scalable unit economics and strong gross margins, we’re building both impact and profitability,” said Akshai Varde, Founder & CEO, EXELmoto.
‘Scoot’: Designed for Everyone
The ‘Scoot’ features pedal-assist technology, a comfortable bench seat, and intuitive design — ideal for active lifestyles and health-conscious users. The model requires no license or registration, ensuring affordability and accessibility for India’s expanding micro-mobility segment.
“Clean mobility is for everyone — from my generation to the next,” said Suniel Shetty, Investor & Mentor. “When we can confidently adopt electric mobility, the revolution is truly underway.”
