The students of School of Behavioural Sciences & Forensic Investigations (SBSFI), Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) organized ForensiCon’ 24 on Friday to mark the World Forensic Science Day. The event, “ForensiCon’ 24 – A Day to solve it all”, was organized by the students of SBSFI to celebrate the essence of Forensic field and to spread the awareness about the importance of Forensic Science in daily routine. More than 300 people of all age groups witnessed the events and celebrated the day.
ForensiCon’24 was aimed to spread awareness, motivate the young forensic expert and celebrate the spirit of Forensic Science. More than 50 students have volunteered for this event and prepared 15 stalls showcasing different activities related to Forensic Science investigations. The activities like Know your crime scene (KYC), the secrets of handwriting, know your fingerprints, Kaun Banega Forensic Expert, etc. were included.
The ForensiCon’ 24 was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel & Dr. Mahesh Tripathi, Director, SBSFI with other higher authorities. On the occasion guests have encouraged and appreciated the students’ efforts for organizing such an important academic event. Faculties and students of different schools of RRU have visited and actively participated in all activities organized by the students of SBSFI. 140 young cadets of Raksha Shakti School (RSS) also visited the event. The young cadets of RSS not only visited all stalls but also participated in all activities with enormous enthusiasm.
