Students aspiring to pursue higher education in India and abroad have a wealth of opportunities to reduce their financial burden, with several prestigious scholarship programmes now inviting applications for the 2026-27 academic cycle.

- Among the prominent opportunities is the GEV Memorial Merit Scholarship for Law Students 2026-27, an initiative of the GEV Scholarship Fund Trust established in memory of the Late Dr. Goolam E. Vahanvati, the 13th Attorney General of India. The scholarship supports meritorious undergraduate and postgraduate law students, as well as aspirants preparing for CLAT, LSAT-India, AILET and other law entrance examinations. Eligible candidates must be Indian citizens with a minimum of 60 per cent marks in Classes X and XII, an annual family income not exceeding ₹10 lakh, and a willingness to participate in mentorship programmes.
- The Biswabina Scholarship 2026, instituted by the Biswabina Foundation—a public charitable trust founded on April 7, 2014, in Kolkata under the leadership of Dr. Rina Pal—is open to students who have secured at least 80 per cent marks in Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination and have gained admission to a bachelor’s degree or professional course. Preference will be accorded to students who have passed their qualifying examination during the current academic year.
- The IDFC FIRST Bank MBA Scholarship Program 2026-28 offers financial assistance to first-year full-time MBA students from families with an annual income below ₹6 lakh. Selected candidates will receive a scholarship of ₹2 lakh, disbursed at ₹1 lakh per year over the two-year MBA programme.
- For students seeking careers in cutting-edge technologies, the uGSOT Scholarship Program 2026, offered by upGrad School of Technology, supports Class XII science students pursuing B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science with specialisations in Generative AI & Machine Learning, Quantum Computing and Full Stack Development.
- Innovation-driven students can also participate in Samsung Solve for Tomorrow India 2026, a flagship initiative under the strategic partnership of Samsung India, the United Nations in India, IIT Delhi, the Foundation for Innovation & Technology Transfer (FITT) and the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology. The programme encourages young innovators to develop technology-led solutions addressing real-world challenges.
- The Eastman Powerup Eduskill Scholarship Program 2026-27, launched by Eastman Auto and Power Limited (EAPL), provides engineering, diploma and management students from economically weaker backgrounds with access to industry-relevant certification courses along with financial assistance of up to ₹20,000, disbursed in milestones upon successful completion of the programme.
- Students aspiring for international education can apply for the prestigious Fulbright-Nehru Master’s Fellowships 2027-28, offered by the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF). The fellowship enables outstanding Indian students to pursue Master’s degree programmes at selected universities across the United States.
