AHMEDABAD, JUNE 26

Road safety begins long before a person gets behind the wheel. Reinforcing this belief, Kalorex Future School East organised a Traffic Rules Awareness Session for students of Classes IX to XI, encouraging them to become informed, responsible and safety-conscious citizens.

The one-hour awareness programme was conducted by Prakash Parmar, Police Inspector, Vivekanand Nagar Police Station, along with Ashish Dave, through an engaging PowerPoint presentation followed by an interactive session that kept students actively involved throughout.

The resource persons highlighted the importance of understanding traffic regulations, practising safe road behaviour and cultivating a lifelong respect for traffic laws. Students were educated on the critical role of wearing helmets and seat belts, the dangers of negligent driving and the responsibility every citizen shares in making roads safer.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students raising thoughtful questions on road safety, traffic discipline and responsible commuting. The interactive format enabled them to gain practical insights into everyday road-use situations and the consequences of violating traffic rules.

At the conclusion of the programme, students took a solemn pledge to obey traffic regulations, wear helmets and seat belts at all times, avoid unsafe road practices and actively spread awareness about road safety among their family members, friends and the wider community.

The initiative reflects Kalorex Future School East’s continued emphasis on holistic education that extends beyond classrooms by nurturing life skills, civic consciousness and responsible citizenship. By exposing students to real-life guidance from law enforcement professionals, the school reaffirmed its commitment to shaping socially aware individuals who contribute positively to society.
