His dedication to the art of filmmaking coupled with hard work makes a perfectionist in all his endeavours. The golden jubilee celebration of is one more feather in his cap of glory.”
Commenting on the film’s success, Gujarat Vishwa Hindu Parishad general secretary Ashokbhai Raval said, “‘Kasoombo’ eulogizing the rich Sanatana Dharma ought to be screened all over the nation before the Lok Sabha elections to create a mass awakening among all Hindus. This film is a brilliant bid to propagate the heroics of Dadu Barot and his 51 valiant Barot warriors of Shatrunjay in Palitana.”
Sharing his struggles with the Censor Board, director Vijayagiri Bawa said, “The Censor Board had made him to cut some important portions of the film like Vedic Shlokas. Despite these hardships, the film has come out well. The art director has undertaken a lot of research to recreate the 13th century village, fort et al. And above all the dialogue writer has maintained the old and gold charm of chaste Gujarati. I am indebted to the Barot community for extending their solidarity and also the entire star cast and crew. I owe this success to team work. To cater to the larger audience, this film will be made in our national language Hindi in a grand and gala manner.”
Vijaygiri Bawa further said, “This was a very important project for us and we have taken care of every little detail for this film. I also thank the audience for supporting this film. Very nice response for this film on our Sanatana Dharma.”
