Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), presided over the Training Command Commanders’ Conference 2025, held at Headquarters Training Command (HQ TC), Bengaluru on October 23 and 24, 2025.


The conference brought together commanders from all training establishments under the command to review ongoing initiatives, share insights, and outline the roadmap for the Indian Air Force’s future training vision.

The two-day event saw discussions on a wide spectrum of strategic issues, including the transformation of training philosophy, modernisation of infrastructure, and alignment of instructional practices with the evolving operational and technological needs of the Indian Air Force.

In his keynote address, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh lauded the sustained commitment and excellence demonstrated by the Training Command and its institutions. He stressed that transformations in military training are essential for ensuring that India’s defence forces remain adaptable, efficient, and combat-ready amid fast-evolving global threats and technological shifts.
“The transformation in our training ecosystem must keep pace with the rapid changes in warfare, technology, and geopolitics. The agility, adaptability, and professionalism of our air warriors depend on how effectively we modernise and innovate in our approach to training,” the IAF Chief said.
The Chief of the Air Staff reviewed the performance of all training establishments, commending their notable achievements while identifying key areas for further enhancement. He emphasized that the future of combat readiness depends not only on cutting-edge technology but also on well-trained, agile, and mission-oriented personnel.
As part of the event, trophies were presented to stations for excellence in operations, maintenance, and administration, with the ‘Pride of the Training Command’ trophy awarded to the Air Force Academy, recognizing its outstanding performance and leadership in shaping the next generation of IAF officers.
The conference concluded with a reaffirmation of the IAF’s commitment to continuous innovation, operational excellence, and the holistic development of its air warriors, aligning with India’s broader vision of building a modern, self-reliant, and technologically advanced defence ecosystem.
