“All 50 personnel have been evacuated today morning from jack-up rig ‘Key Singapore’ operating off Dwarka coast near Okha, Gujarat by the Indian Coast Guard ALH Dhruv helicopters in 12 sorties,” said ICG officials.

The Coast Guard has four Advanced Light Helicopters in Gujarat, but the other helicopters are kept in reserve as they will be required post the cyclone.
Shipping activities at Deendayal Port at Kandla have ceased, resulting in the piling up of shops. A warning signal hoisted there.
