Entertainment is getting a longer lease on life for Jio subscribers, with Reliance Jio expanding its OTT-Pass family beyond the monthly cycle and putting premium entertainment, high-speed data and Unlimited 5G into powerful quarterly and annual packages.
Reliance Jio has introduced new 3-month and 1-year Jio OTT-Pass variants, giving content-hungry consumers greater flexibility and value while building on its existing 28-day offering. The new plans are designed for subscribers who want uninterrupted access to premium digital entertainment without the need for frequent monthly recharges.
The expanded portfolio now comes in three validity tiers, enabling Jio users to choose a pass based on their usage and subscription horizon.
₹550 Pass brings three months of entertainment
The newly launched ₹550 OTT Pass provides 84 days of validity, 90GB of total high-speed data and Unlimited 5G.
It is available to Jio customers with active 3-month or 1-year base plans, excluding voice-only packs, making it particularly suited to subscribers seeking an extended entertainment and connectivity package.
The portfolio also includes the ₹2,000 OTT Pass, offering a full 365 days of validity, 365GB total high-speed data and Unlimited 5G. The annual pass is available exclusively to customers with active 1-year base plans, other than voice-only packs.
The existing ₹200 OTT Pass continues to offer 28 days of validity, 30GB total high-speed data and Unlimited 5G to Jio users on an active base plan, excluding voice-only packs.
15 premium OTT platforms under one umbrella
At the heart of the Jio OTT-Pass proposition is an extensive entertainment bundle. Each pass provides access to 15 premium streaming platforms, along with 1,000-plus live TV channels through the JioTV app, offering a broad mix of movies, original programming, sports, television and regional content.
Subscribers get YouTube Premium, offering ad-free viewing across TV, tablet and mobile devices, besides background play and offline downloads.
JioHotstar Mobile + Hollywood brings access to live sports, Hotstar originals and blockbuster Hollywood content.
For Amazon Prime, the ₹550 and ₹2,000 passes include Amazon Prime Lite membership with Prime Video, while the ₹200 pass provides Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition.
The bundle additionally includes SonyLIV, ZEE5, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, SunNXT, FanCode, Hoichoi, Chaupal, Planet Marathi, Kanccha Lannka, TimesPlay and Tarang Plus, integrated through JioTV.
From prime-time television to premium streaming
The entertainment proposition extends beyond OTT platforms, with 1,000-plus live TV channels covering leading broadcasters and genres.
Subscribers can access channels including Star Plus HD, Colors HD, SET HD, Sun TV HD, Discovery and Cartoon Network, bringing conventional television and digital streaming together in one ecosystem.
Jio said the comprehensive package represents more than ₹1,500 worth of monthly benefits, further strengthening the value proposition of the OTT-Pass portfolio.
New passes available from August 7
The new ₹550 and ₹2,000 Jio OTT-Pass options became available for recharge from August 7, 2026 through the MyJio app, official Jio website and authorised retail outlets.
With its latest expansion, Jio is effectively positioning the OTT-Pass as more than a streaming add-on—a long-duration digital entertainment and connectivity package that brings data, 5G, live television, movies, sports and premium streaming platforms together under one subscription umbrella.
