The Lions Club of Ahmedabad, Satellite organised a free dental check-up camp at the School for Deaf-Mutes, Ashram Road, on Monday. 500 children underwent the dental check-up and were provided with a dental kit at the camp. Rasikbhai Patel, District Governor graced the activity with his presence.
Dr Umangi Lekhadia, Kids Dental Studio partnered with them for the cause and extended her support to organize the camp.

“Dental health is a very important aspect of our health, but many people tend to ignore it due to one or the other reason. We organised this camp to stress the importance of dental health and to allow people to benefit from it. I also consider it my privilege to be able to spend time with specially-abled children on my birthday. I am thankful to the School for Deaf-Mutes for this wonderful occasion,” Parikh said.
