Renowned entertainment company, Mirchi has once again taken steps to motivate people to make a greener future for Ahmedabad. Mirchi has collaborated with the Chiripal Group for their yearly tree plantation initiative – “Chiripal Mirchi Green Yodha”.  With the support of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, this joint venture has sowed the seeds of a green future to enhance the city’s greenery by planting 50,000 trees. The on-ground event on Friday, June 30th, witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Mulu Ayar Bera, Minister of Tourism, Cultural Activities, Forest & Environment and Climate Change, Gujarat.  These influential figures actively appealed to the citizens to seize every opportunity to contribute to the city’s greenery.

In addition, citizens from all walks of life, including residents, students, and nature enthusiasts, actively participated in the tree plantation drive, joining Mirchi and The Chiripal Group in their mission for a greener Ahmedabad. Adding to this, Nimit Tiwari, Business Director, Mirchi, said, “Mirchi has been organising fun tree plantation drives since 2015. Through tree plantation drives, we aim to beautify our city and create a greener, healthier future. Events like this and people’s participation prove that we can build a sustainable and vibrant city.”

Ronak Chiripal, expressed excitement at the community’s participation, saying, “We at Chiripal group have taken a pledge to plant 1 million trees in the next five years and we will do what it takes to contribute positively to enhance the green cover of Ahmedabad. We believe that it is our responsibility to preserve and nurture the environment and hand it over to the next generation in a better state than what we have inherited it from our forefathers.”

Mirchi RJs visited various societies and schools in Ahmedabad, driving the tree plantation event. Through interactive sessions, they inspired residents and students, spreading awareness about the significance of tree planting and environmental sustainability.

Mirchi’s previous tree plantation initiatives have yielded remarkable success, benefitting the city’s environment and the citizens of Ahmedabad.
