Noted Ramayana kathakaar and spiritual leader Pujya Morari Bapu has announced financial assistance of Rs 15,000 each to 50 families of six accident and fire mishap victims, including one in Colombia.
According to Shri Chitrakoot Dham Trust release, 14 people lost their lives due to a landslide in Quetame city of Colombia, South America, while eight people lost their lives in Jammu’s Kathua after heavy rains and landslides. An army officer died after a fire accident in Siachen glacier.
In another tragic incident, 16 people were electrocuted at a Namami Gange projects site in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district, while a youth died due to a lightning strike at Andhariyawad in Ghogha taluks of Bhavnagar. In another unfortunate incident, nine people were killed in a road accident on the Iskcon bridge in Ahmedabad on Wednesday night.
Pujya Morari Bapu has announced, on Thursday, assistance worth Rs 15,000 each to the families of all these deceased passengers, totaling Rs 7.5 lakhh.
The financial assistance will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of families of all these victims’ kin by Shri Chitrakoot Dham Trust, Talgajarda, the release added.
The bereaved families in Colombia will be extended the assistance in the local currency by Morari Bapu’s followers and Ramkatha listeners in the US.
Morari Bapu prayed at the feet of Lord Hanuman for the salvation of the departed souls and expressed his heartfelt sympathies to their families.
