Muthoot Finance, India’s leading gold loan NBFC recognized the unwavering commitment and contribution of healthcare professionals, and humbly felicitated them with the Muthoot Golden Award for Medical Excellence 2023, in association with Indian Medical Association – Tambaram Branch (IMA). As part of the Continuing Medical Education (CME) meeting in IMA, Muthoot Finance conferred Muthoot Golden Award to 60 doctors and 10 nurses in the medical fraternity on Sunday, 27 August, 2023 at 4 pm.
For several years, Muthoot Finance has been relentlessly committed to societal welfare that goes far beyond financial services. In alignment with the recent Indian Government’s initiative and vision of ‘Heal by India’, we aim to recognize the contribution of our healthcare workforce and medical practitioners including doctors, nurses, and other care workers under. The Muthoot Golden Award for Medical Excellence is a key initiative undertaken by Muthoot Finance focusing on continuing medical education, and aligning with the Government’s aim to build a solid healthcare foundation in the country.
The Medical Excellence Award function was graced by Dr. K. M. Abul Hassan, State President Elect, IMA- Tamil Nadu State Branch – 2024, Dr. V. N. Alaguvenkatesan, Hon. State Treasurer, IMA – Tamil Nadu State Branch and Capt. Dr. G Raghavelu, Past President – IMA – Tamil Nadu State Branch, who addressed the august gathering. Other dignitaries present at the event were Dr. Umaiyal Murugesan, President, IMA- Tambaram Branch, Dr. Sai Meenakshi T N, Honorary Secretary, IMA- Tambaram Branch, Dr. Jamuna Rani S, Honorary Treasurer, IMA- Tambaram Branch, and Mr. Vigneshwaran, Regional Manager Chennai Central Region, Muthoot Finance.
