NCC Directorate Gujarat, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu on Thursday announced that to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence its Officers, Staff and Cadets will felicitate the Next of Kin of Martyrs in concert with the Republic Day Celebration to be commemorated on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, says a release.

The “Saheedon Ko Shath Shath Naman” event will be conducted as part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. The aim of the event is to pay homage to martyrs by felicitating their families and to remind ourselves regarding the supreme sacrifice of the bravehearts.

During the event, the Next of Kin of Martyrs will be visited by NCC Officers, Staff and Cadets and presented with a “Plaque of Gratitude” coinciding with the Prime Minister paying homage to Shaheed at the National War Memorial.
