As millions across Gujarat celebrated the timeless tradition of Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra, more than 100 families embarked on a different yet equally memorable journey—their first drive home in a brand-new Škoda. Blending faith with aspiration, tradition with technology, and celebration with customer delight, Škoda Auto India transformed one of the State’s most revered festivals into a remarkable milestone in automotive retail, underscoring the growing appetite for premium mobility in Gujarat.
Škoda Auto India marked Rath Yatra with one of its largest-ever single-day customer delivery campaigns in Gujarat, handing over more than 100 Škoda vehicles through its dealer partner, Stellar Škoda, in a synchronised celebration spanning multiple cities across the State.
The deliveries were carried out simultaneously through Stellar Škoda dealerships in Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Gandhinagar, Mehsana, Bharuch and Bhavnagar, making it one of the most significant festive delivery milestones achieved by the Czech automobile manufacturer in Gujarat.
The large-scale delivery drive reflects the rapidly growing demand for Škoda’s premium vehicles in Gujarat and reinforces the company’s commitment to offering a seamless ownership experience backed by an expanding sales and service network.
Timed to coincide with one of Gujarat’s biggest religious festivals, the initiative also highlighted the brand’s growing emotional connect with customers, many of whom chose the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra to take delivery of their new vehicles.
The achievement comes as Škoda Auto India continues to strengthen its footprint across Gujarat through sustained investments in customer accessibility and after-sales support.
As part of its expansion strategy, the company recently inaugurated three new customer touchpoints at Naroda, Maninagar and Himmatnagar, designed around Škoda’s global Modern Solid retail philosophy to deliver a contemporary and customer-friendly experience.
With these additions, Škoda Auto India now operates 25 customer touchpoints across 16 cities in Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Vapi, Gandhinagar, Anand, Bharuch, Bhavnagar, Gandhidham, Himmatnagar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Mehsana, Morbi and Navsari.
The Gujarat expansion forms part of the company’s broader national strategy to move closer to customers. Over the past few years, Škoda Auto India has expanded its retail and service network from more than 120 touchpoints in 2021 to over 340 touchpoints across 189 cities, significantly improving accessibility and ownership convenience.
The festive delivery milestone reinforces Gujarat’s growing importance as a key market for premium passenger vehicles while reflecting increasing consumer confidence in Škoda’s product portfolio, dealership network and long-term commitment to the Indian market.
