President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel on Wednesday greeted the countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi celebrated Raksha Bandhan with children at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg on Wednesday.

The children tied Rakhi to the Prime Minister, who interacted with them on various issues. The children shared their positive feelings on the recent success of Chandrayaan-3 mission and expressed their enthusiasm about the upcoming Aditya L-1 mission.

The children also recited poems and sang songs during the interaction. Impressed by their articulation, the Prime Minister encouraged them to explore writing poems on different various topics including government schemes for the benefit of the public. Explaining the importance of Aatmanirbharta, Prime Minister also advised the children to use Made in India products.
Various students, accompanied by their teachers, participated in the celebration. Representatives of NGOs, widows from Vrindavan, as well as other individuals were also present.
“Best wishes to all the countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The festival symbolizes the undying love of brother and sister,” the President wrote on X (formerly) Twitter.
She also appealed to take a pledge to create a more secure environment for the women in the country.
Extending his greetings, the Vice President wrote on X, “Warm greetings on Raksha Bandhan! RakshaBandhan embodies the beautiful bond of love that binds brothers and sisters.”
“On this auspicious occasion, let us resolve to stand by our ‘Nari Shakti’ as they commit to take Bharat to greater glory. May this festival add to the happiness in our lives,” Dhankhar.
Taking to X, the Prime Minister wrote, “Happy Raksha Bandhan to all my family members.This auspicious festival dedicated to the unbreakable trust and immense love between sister and brother is a sacred reflection of our culture.”
“I wish, this festival deepens the spirit of affection, harmony and harmony in everyone’s life,” he said.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also took to X to extend his warm wishes to the countrymen.
“Hearty greetings to all the countrymen on Raksha Bandhan.May this auspicious symbolizing the unbreakable relationship and love of brother and sister bring happiness and prosperity in everyone’s life,” Shah said.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s rakhi ceremony, marked by ties with women police officers, symbolizes the evolving dynamics of power and solidarity.
Extending his greetings, Odisha Chief Minister wrote on X, “My hearty greetings and best wishes to one and all on the auspicious occasion of Rakshi Purnima or Gahma Purnima. May this holy festival of fraternity and goodwill strengthens the brother-sister relationship with the blessings of Lord Shri Jagannath.”

ரக்ஷா பந்தன் பண்டிகையை முன்னிட்டு பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி மக்களுக்கு வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
