Rajesh Power Services Limited has secured a ₹362.83-crore order from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL), giving a powerful thrust to its Gujarat operations while reinforcing its position in the fast-evolving underground power distribution segment.
Rajesh Power Services Limited (BSE: 544291; ISIN: INE0VN801010), a leading EPC contractor in power transmission and distribution, announced on Thursday that it has bagged new orders worth ₹362.83 crore, inclusive of taxes, from PGVCL, a Government of Gujarat undertaking.
The turnkey projects will focus on the conversion of existing 11kV High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) line networks into underground cable networks in Jamnagar Circle of Gujarat.
The projects will incorporate a Ring Main System, along with GIS mapping and asset tagging, marking a significant infrastructure upgrade aimed at modernising the power distribution network and enhancing its operational reliability.
The latest order adds further momentum to Rajesh Power Services’ growth trajectory in the power transmission and distribution space, particularly as utilities increasingly turn towards underground networks and technology-enabled asset management.
Underground cabling is gaining importance as power distribution networks seek greater resilience, improved reliability and better management of critical electrical assets. The integration of GIS mapping and asset tagging is also expected to provide enhanced visibility and systematic management of the distribution infrastructure.
