Well known producer Late Ramu and senior actress Malashree’s daughter Radhana Ram is all set to make her debut with ‘Challenging Star’ Darshan in a new film tentatively titled as ‘D56.’ The film was launched on the auspicious occasion of Varamahalakshmi Festival on Friday at the Sri Ravishankar Guruji Ashram in Bengaluru.
Sri Ravishankar Guruji himself was present during the launch of the film and switched on the camera for the first shot of the film. The film is being produced by well known producer Rockline Venkatesh under his Rockline Productions banner and is being written and directed by Tharun Sudhir of ‘Robert’ fame.

Speaking about the launch of Radhana Ram to Kannada film industry, senior actress Malashree requested filmgoers to wish her daughter and shower their blessings on her.
“Rockline Venkatesh ventured into production with my film and now my daughter is making her debut as an actress with a film being produced by Rockline Venkatesh, I am happy that she is making a debut with a good team. She wanted to become an actress from a young age. She has learnt acting and dance in Mumbai. She has really worked hard in the last few years and I want to her carve a niche for herself and not recognize as my daughter,” says Malashree.
Radhana says she is thrilled to make her debut with the ‘Challenging Star’.
“When I got an offer to act in this film, I couldn’t believe myself. I wanted to become an actress. So, I have made a lot of preparations in the last few years to present myself on the screen. I hope the audience bless me as they blessed my parents,” says Radhana.

D56 is an action entertainer with a socially relevant message. The shooting for the film will be held mostly in Bengaluru in specially erected sets. The technical team of ‘Robert’, including cinematographer Sudhakar Raj, editor K M Prakash, will be continuing here also.
