In Tamil Nadu, cinema and politics are two sides of a coin and inseparable. The recent stupendous victory of Udhayanidhi Stalin-Vadivelu starrer ‘Maamannan’ has exhibited good governance.
Director Selvaraghavan, who has been making his mark in acting of late, is playing the lead role in a film directed by debutant Ranganathan and produced by GA Harikrishnan and Durga Devi Harikrishnan under Moment Entertainments banner. The yet-untitled movie revolves around south Tamil Nadu politics.

Yogi Babu, popular Telugu actor Sunil, Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko, Radharavi and Vinodhini will be seen in key roles in this yet-to-be-titled film that features director Rajiv Menon’s daughter Saraswati Menon as the leading lady. The name of another heroine will be announced later.
Speaking about the film, Director Ranganathan said, “This is a story about the politics of south Tamil Nadu. We have added many interesting elements to attract the audience. Selvaraghavan, who listened to the story, liked it very much and agreed to play the lead role. My thanks to him and producer Harikrishnan.”
Speaking further, he said, “The shooting has started and is going on in places like Dindigul, Ramanathapuram and Kodaikanal. We are planning to complete the shoot in fifty days. A famous music composer is scoring the music for the film. His name will be announced soon.”
