Customers can use the toll-free number 044-69006900 to avail of the 100% cashless Home Health Care facility. The end-to-end package covers all expenses from professional fees, nursing fees, medicine and lab tests with no out-of-pocket expenses with this service. Doctors will be available at one’s doorstep within a short span of time and quick turn-around-time (TAT) and customers can get easy access to medication, diagnostic tests and specialized care.

The health insurance market in Tamil Nadu has grown significantly, with Star Health Insurance’s retail premiums crossing Rs 2,000 Cr with over 12.5 lakh policies sold in FY2024. The gender distribution is almost equal, with men at 53% and women at 47%. The popular products are Star Family Health Optima, Star Comprehensive Insurance and Star Health Assure Insurance Policy.
The cities accounting for the highest premium are Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tirupur, and Trichy. With the Company’s tech-driven approach, digital transactions account for 63% of the business in the state. Major health issues include orthopaedics, trauma, cardiology, carcinoma, gastroenterology, and infectious diseases. With a focus on enabling cashless everywhere, 88% of claims settled in FY24 were cashless.
