Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management (SVPITM) in collaboration with GIZ, Germany, is organising a Workshop on “Digital Solutions for Substitution of Hazardous Chemicals in the Fashion Supply Chain“.
The workshop is scheduled on Thursday from 10:00 am at the SVPITM-Auditorium, Coimbatore.
“The objective of the workshop is to spread awareness amongst the students on the need for transparency of chemical usage in textile supply chains. Total number of participants is 200. Various eminent personalities from the textile industry will speak on the subject,” said Dr P.Alli Rani, Director, SVPITM.
The workshop will be a platform for disseminating information on sustainability in textiles with the applications of digital solutions.
