- Vijay Sethupathi returns as host as ‘Carnivizha’ and ‘Ottikichu’ turn up the celebration quotient
- Celebrities to share the spotlight with handpicked commoners emerging from Bigg Boss: The Common Man
- 24×7 streaming on JioHotstar promises viewers an around-the-clock window into the iconic Bigg Boss house
The Grand Launch of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10 will take place on September 6 from 6 pm onwards, streaming on JioHotstar and airing simultaneously on Star Vijay. Viewers will also have access to the action inside the house through 24×7 streaming on JioHotstar throughout the season.
The milestone edition is being positioned as more than just another season — it is a celebration of a decade of personalities, relationships, rivalries, emotions, controversies, friendships and dreams that have made Bigg Boss Tamil a major fixture of Tamil entertainment.
‘CARNIVIZHA’ KICKS OFF THE COUNTDOWN
The excitement surrounding the landmark season has already begun building with the release of the ‘Carnivizha’ promo featuring host Vijay Sethupathi.
The celebratory promo has generated considerable buzz across social media, setting the mood for a season that promises to combine the familiar Bigg Boss ingredients with new faces and fresh possibilities.
Taking the campaign into its next phase, JioHotstar and Star Vijay have unveiled ‘Ottikichu’, a special music video featuring Vijay Sethupathi. The video reveals the much-awaited launch date while adding another burst of energy to the countdown.
With music, spectacle and the unmistakable Bigg Boss anticipation taking centre stage, the promotional campaign is turning the wait for Season 10 into an event in itself.
Commoners get a shot at the big league
Perhaps the most intriguing addition to the milestone season is the decision to bring together celebrities and selected commoners under one roof.
The commoners will be chosen through Bigg Boss: The Common Man, a new route that could give aspiring participants an opportunity to move from watching the show to becoming part of its story.
The Common Man will conclude ahead of the Season 10 launch, with the selected winners expected to enter the Bigg Boss house alongside celebrity contestants.
For the selected commoners, the opportunity represents much more than a television appearance — it could become a life-changing platform where unknown personalities get the chance to capture the imagination of millions.
Vijay Sethupathi returns, promising a new dynamic
At the centre of the milestone season will once again be Vijay Sethupathi, returning as the host.
His presence is expected to bring his distinctive personality and perspective to a format built around unpredictable situations, emotional highs, interpersonal conflicts and strategic gameplay.
With a fresh mix of personalities entering the house, Season 10 promises to deliver a potent combination of emotion, ambition, friendship, confrontation, humour and entertainment.
And with cameras running around the clock, viewers will not have to wait for the television episode to discover what happens next.
The 24×7 JioHotstar stream will provide continuous access to the house, allowing audiences to follow the contestants beyond the edited television episodes and witness the evolving dynamics as they unfold.
As the countdown begins, Season 10 carries the weight — and the opportunity — of a milestone. Ten seasons in, the house is ready to open its doors once again, but the biggest question remains the same: who will enter as an unknown face and walk out as a name the whole of Tamil Nadu remembers?
